Please Help Netivot Shalom Job Seekers!
All of the Berkeley congregations are working together to provide serious support for those members who are looking for employment. An absolutely key element of this support is connecting employed congregants with those looking for jobs. Our fellow congregants are looking for informational-interview opportunities, or someone to ask questions of who work at companies that match their employment interest. Registering on the website listed below will NOT expose you to spam or those bizarre email solicitations. All that we are looking for is a way for congregants seeking employment to connect with other congregants in similar fields.
We do a great job supporting the sick, helping new parents with babies or feeding the homeless. Let's also expand our ability to support each other in this difficult time by helping others find employment.
Simply go to http://www.Linkedin.com, click "join today" (if you're not already registered on the site), enter information for at least your current employer, then most important, please join the "Berkeley Synagogues" group. (Click on Groups, click on the Groups Directory tab, click on our group's name, then click Join Group.)
Thank you for helping a fellow member in need toward a more secure future.
Job Seekers: We meet every Thursday from 10:00 am to 11:30 am to network, offer each other support, etc. Our meetings are held in Netivot Shalom's Library. Meetings are open to all job seekers.
